Workshops
Creative, focused, and rooted in what young people care about.
Re:Shift workshops and intensives offer a different way to connect. Designed for young people who might not thrive in long-term or highly structured programmes, these short bursts of focused, interest-led work give space to explore, reflect, and build confidence in a supported and creative environment.
Our themed workshops run over a day or series of days, and intensives often span a week, ideal for school holidays, transitional periods, or targeted interventions. Whether hosted in a youth centre, studio, or community venue, they provide opportunities for expression and growth through hands-on activity and relational support.
Workshops can cover:
- Mental health & emotional wellbeing
- Coping with anxiety & stress
- Gender, identity & LGBT+ inclusion
- Self-esteem, confidence, and goal-setting
- Healthy relationships and personal boundaries
- Consent, body autonomy, and sexual health
- Domestic abuse, trauma, and emotional safety
- Online safety, grooming, and exploitation
- Substance misuse and informed choices
- Self-harm, intrusive thoughts, and social media
- Preparing for adulthood & independent living
- Family resilience & communication
- Creativity and the arts as healing tools
- Masculinity and emotional expression
- Neurodiversity and self-understanding
We also offer bespoke workshops and themed programmes designed in partnership with schools, care providers, or youth services. Whether you’re looking to explore a specific topic, respond to emerging needs, or create something completely new with your young people, our team can co-design and deliver sessions that reflect your goals while staying true to Re:Shift’s relational and creative approach.
Why They Work
Our short-form programmes are built with the same trauma-informed and relational foundations that shape all Re:Shift work:
- Low demand, high connection – We strip away the formal barriers and meet young people where they are.
- Process over product – It’s not about finishing a project—it’s about exploring identity, building trust, and expressing something real.
- Space to show up differently – For many young people, these sessions are the first time they’ve been able to participate in a group or finish something they’ve started.
These sessions are especially effective for young people who may have refused support in the past, or who struggle with consistency but are ready for something hands-on, grounded, and human.
